This month has been a good one in terms of skincare and beauty products. Not only have we discovered some absolute gems, but we’ve also used up the last bits of a handful of our favourites which is always exciting.

Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream*

We were close to tears when we pumped out the last of this product! Loved by the likes of Aimee Song, this is one of a handful of moistuisers containing SPF in our collection that sits well under our makeup. It’s non greasy and with an SPF of 50+, it has become a constant in our daily am routine. Surprisingly, unlike most sun creams, this one actually smells good! We’ll definitely be hunting down a new tube of this moisturiser! Read our full review of the sun cream, here.

Lush Cosmetics Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

Body conditioner? Yep, you read it right. We picked up this tub on a whim during one of our spendy trips to Lush (oops!). It turns out that it is actually a popular product in beauty circles. Body conditioners are not something we’ve dabbled in before, so an element of curiosity definitely convinced us to basket this. We did not expect the conditioner to work as well as it does. After washing, we smooth the conditioner all over, then rinse. With skin loving ingredients like cocoa, shea and cupuacu butters, and almond and argan oil, this product delivers some serious hydration without leaving the skin greasy. And of course, it would not be a Lush product without a delicious scent which this vanilla and rose fragranced body conditioner definitely has!

Snow Fox Soothing Facial Mousse*

Last  month, we wrote an entire post reviewing this product which you can read here Contrary to the popular belief that mousse or foam cleansers can cause irritation and dehydrate skin, particularly for hypersensitive skin types, this facial mousse does not strip the skin of moisture. With ingredients to brighten and soothe the skin, this product is one we are seriously considering repurchasing.

Skin Physics Advance Superlift Eye Contouring Serum

Looking for a lightweight, hydrating eye cream? We’ve been using this one from Skin Physics for months and have finally used up the last of the bottle. We have struggled to find eye creams in the past that sit well under makeup, but this lightweight formula makes it ideal to wear under your concealer.

Davroe Volume Senses Amplifying Conditioner*

From body conditioner to the more familiar hair conditioner, our last empties of the month is one from Davroe. We picked this up at an event we attended at the beginning of the year, and it’s the first we’ve tried from the brand. According to their website, this product promises to add body and shine to your locks. We both have incredibly straight and fine hair, so when it comes to any hair products, we always look for something that won’t weigh our hair down. We are big fans of the Tresemme conditioners which we find this one is quite similar to. Both are lightweight which is great for our fine hair. The only difference is that Davroe’s conditioner is considerably more pricey, so we probably won’t be rushing to re-purchase it anytime soon.

    1. It is! We can see why so many people like it 🙂 The facial mousse is definitely worth a try. It really is soothing and cooling on the skin. Let us know what you think if you do give it a go.

  1. I’ve been more or less using the same products in July but my most loved product for july would have to be my cleansing balm from the body shop!! love double cleansing with it!

    1. That’s a new one for us! We haven’t used their cleansing balm before. We do love a good double cleanse though, so we might have to check it out!! Thanks for adding another to our long ‘to try’ list, Lisa!
