This week, we’ve fallen in love with a few products…
Unlike some foam cleansers that tend to feel diluted, Optiva’s offering is more of a moussey consistency which we prefer. It does a fairly good job at removing most of our eye makeup, and the thicker formula definitely feels more hydrating than most other cleansers of its kind.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler
Unfortunately we’ve long lost the packaging for this curler, so we’re not entirely sure of it’s name, but let’s call it the magic wand of lashes!! Blessed with stubbornly straight lashes, this curling companion is gold. We crimp the roots, mid-lash and tips of our lashes to prep them for mascara.
Chifure Lipstick in shade #153
This creamy lippie has not left our makeup bag since we picked it up in Japan. The muted beige/dusty rose is our ideal MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade. It is as versatile as they come, adding a bit more depth and intensity to our daily pout, but also a no-brainer to offset a more dramatic eye look
This is another gem we picked up in Japan. This quad has almost all of your cheek needs covered. The combination of pearly shades are heavenly when used individually but just as pretty when swirled and used together. The lightest shade is what we have been using to highlight our cheekbones and the bridge of our nose, while we’ve been using a combination of the other shades to pinch some colour into our cheeks.
You’re probably sick of seeing this Lush favourite in yet another post, put how could we resist when it is just so darn good?!! Our skin has been looking duller in recent weeks, and in desperate need of buffing. Infused with caramel and with small pieces of popcorn, the gentle exfoliant leaves our skin feeling as good as it smells!
What has your week of makeup looked like?
