Garnier Micellar for Combination to Oily Skin

You know how they say that movie sequels are not as good as the original? unfortunately the same holds true for the Garnier Micellar Water.

The Garnier Micellar for Sensitive Skin holds a very special place in our hearts and makeup bag!! There is no mistaking the pink capped bottle that has become a constant on our empties and repurchase list. It does it all. It eliminates the lengthy rituals of cleansing, toning and moisturising. It’s just so darn good, and that was why we were excited to.

It seems like Garnier have a Micellar offering for all skin types. The original Garnier Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin is a no fuss makeup-remover and cleanser that soothes even the most sensitive of skins. However, the new Micellar water for Combination & Sensitive Skin* comes in a green-capped bottle and makes the bold claim of being a mattifying cleanser suitable for sensitive as well as combination skin.

Like its predecessor, the Combination & Sensitive Skin version contains micelles which captures and removes makeup and impurities, and does an amazing job at deeply cleansing the skin. But unlike the original, it also contains Alcohol Denat which regulates oil and mattifies the skin. Unfortunately, this also means that this variant can be a little drying, so we would say this is one for those with oilier, but less sensitive skin then ours. If you’ve got combination to oily skin, this is definitely one you.

What are your thoughts on the different Garnier Micellar waters?
