Other than moisturising, cleansing is the only part of our skincare routine we have remained fiercely loyal to.

Cleansing milks, lotions or serums, oil-based cleansers and foam cleansers, we thought we had tried it all, that is until we laid our hands on Antipodes’ Grapeseed Butter Cleanser*.

Although we love our QV Foam Cleanser and use it daily, something was lacking. With the dry wind and chilly Winter air, our skin is often left feeling like dehydrated prunes. Our skin craves hydration, and with butter in its name, you can bet your bottom dollar this cleanser does the job.

The subtle exfoliating action of the hibiscus flower, paired with the hydrating blend of cacao butter, olive and herekke oils, and grapeseed extract means the cleanser is gentle enough for us to use daily. For all those sensitive skin girls out there, this idsdefinitely one for you. The calming effect of chamomile and lavender soothes and calms as it cleans and clarifies the skin. We do however, recommend you use a face cloth to remove the cleanser, otherwise your skin may be left feeling a little greasy. For those with oily skin who may find the buttery nature of the cleanser a little too much, we would recommend reserving this for heavy makeup days when your skin is in need of deeper cleansing.

Choc-a-block with rich, nourishing minerals, the Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser is also certified organic, made from 100%natural ingredients, 76% of which are organic. That means more love for your skin and the environment!!

Have you dabbled in butter cleansers?

    1. Thank you for dropping by! Sorry for the late reply, but somehow your comment slipped through. We are so glad you liked the post. The cleanser is one of our favourites, that we continue to use today!
