It’s time we fessed up. We’ve gone a little nude lip cray, and you know what? We’re not even the slightest bit sorry! Since sharing with you our top 4 nude lip products, our stash has slowly grown. But who can blame us?! Like the LBD in your wardrobe, a neutral pout is a classic and the ideal canvas for any and every #fotd.
Our latest love affair is with Kiko’s Pencil Lip Gloss in Dark Rose, yep, you heard right…pencil lip gloss! Infused with vitamin E, the formula is super creamy and glides on as smoothly as our favorite lip glosses. This pencil lip gloss works wonders as a base for other lippies, but the slight sheen also makes it the ideal soloist, particularly when we’re craving more muted and understated lips. As we learnt very early on in our nude-lip wearing lives, the prefect shade can be hard to stumble upon. Our advice would be to play around with different shades to find out what complements your skin tone. To avoid looking washed out, we tend to stay away from pure beige products. Dark Rose has the perfect dose of pink, leaving you looking more Kendall Jenner and less zombie.

A lipgloss in pencil form? My mind is officially blown (& it’s too early for that ;)). I found a nude matte lipstick that I’m obsessed with; perfect for the office and going out!

Our exact reaction when we first saw it! It really does give a nice sheen to the lips though, so you can skip the lipgloss. Plus, it’s not stick either! What lipstick is it? We’ve been looking for a good matte lip for a while but we’ve struggled to find one that’s not too drying and clingy

I have one of these too, I can’t remember the exact shade but its a pinky nude and I love it too ^_^ such a unique concept but really glad that it works well haha

It is!! It gives a kind of colour without being too ‘look at me!’. We hadn’t before we tried this too, but we’re glad we took the plunge. You should definitely give pencil lip glosses a go

Ooh I love how that shade turned out, not too peachy but not too nude! I once bought a lipstick thinking it would be the ~perfect nude~ and you couldn’t even see anything -_- I love Kiko though, their lip colours are some of my fave because the colour is amazing and so wearable 😉 I recently picked up a cream eyeshadow from Kiko on sale too, the shade is an awesome aubergine-purple-pink!

Exactly! It gives just the right amount of colour without washing us out. It took us a while to find a nude lip that suited us, so keep looking! We haven’t tried many Kiko products before, but after the success of this pencil lip gloss, we are keen to pick up more from their line. We definintely need to try their cream shadows! We’ve heard great things about them

Thank you! We always thought that nude lips would drown us out, but when you find the perfect nude, you’ll know! You just have to search for it. This is a pencil lip gloss, so it is a lot more creamy and buttery than an ordinary lip gloss. You definitely need to try it.

We love Revlon’s Kissable Balm Stains, but we haven’t tried the ones from NARS yet. We definitely need to pick up a few though!
