THE SLIDER

When they first hit the scene a while back, our thoughts on the new footwear of choice, Sliders, was less than flattering. To be frank we thought they were pretty ridiculous and on par with Crocs. Fast forward a few months, and thanks to a purchase made on a whim, we may have changed our stance on the Slider.

When we spotted these taupe Sliders online, we were immediately hooked. The colour and the design of this particular pair is more flattering and looks a lot less poolside than others we’ve seen, The sole of the shoe is narrower and slim lined while the buckle straps hug the feet which is what makes this Slider work! The thing that turned us off Sliders initially was that by design, they can appear ill fitting and quite chunky, but these have a feminine look about them without straying away from the relaxed and comfortable aesthetic that has made them so popular.

  1. Thanks for letting us know Angelina! We don't know what happened, but we've fixed it for now. We'll have to go back and work it all out! Thanks for clicking through to the post xx

As for the shoes, it is strange isn't it?! We weren't big on culottes when they first came out, but now we want a pair of our own!

  2. That's how I felt when I first saw these as well! Funny how some trends grow on you after a while.

Also I thought I'd let you know that your Read More button doesn't seem to be working for me! It redirects to a photo hosting site, so I got to your post by clicking the title (:
