THE TURTLE NECK

Hurrah! It’s the last month of Winter, and we cannot be more relieved. We can’t wait to pack away our Winter warmers and break out our sun dresses and sandals. With that being said, there is one thing we’ll be sad to relegate to the back of our wardrobes, and that is the turtle neck.

We haven’t owned a turtle neck for years, but this season’s revival of the old favourite has seen us accumulate quite a few. It can be a difficult piece to pull off without looking frumpy or like you’ve time travelled from the 90s, but this has been our favourite way of wearing our turtle necks this season.

TURTLE NECK: Temt / JEANS: Just Jeans / BAG: KMART / BOOTS: Rubi

A pair of rolled up boyfriend jeans or distressed denim can instantly update the turtle neck, taking you from nostalgia lane to 21st century street style. A relaxed fitting neck is also a more flattering variation on this season’s staple.

Are you as excited as we are about Spring?

  1. Really love the pastel pink jumper, it's very subtle and looks great. It would actually be ideal to wear pretty much all year round really, apart from in Summer. This really suits your skin tone too 🙂 xx

  2. We love wearing bright colours all year round, even in autumn and winter despite the dark colours others typically opt for. It's the perfect way to add a little pop and life into any outfit. As for the weather, bring on spring and summer! We aren't big on winter dressing either! We're all about the summer dresses, shorts and skirts. We are so excited!
