Florals are an obvious choice during the warmer months, but there is no reason for you inner flower child to go into hibernation once the mercury drops. At a time when we naturally reach for cosy knits and fluffy socks, florals are the perfect remedy for the dreary weather. Take it as a license to wear your beloved summer pieces by layering them over opaque tights or under sleek coats, leather jackets or anoraks to remain true to the season.

Make your winter wardrobe blossom while being season appropriate by swappy ditsy floral prints for large scale blooms. We’ve taken advantage of the transeasonal love affair with florals and have been getting extra mileage out of our H&M shift dress.
During this time of year, we like to go for vibrant motifs on a black canvas in weightier fabrics, and of course, like all coveted autumn/winter #OOTDs, complete the look with a cute pair of boots. We’ve kept everything else fairly simple with just a few rings, so these faux suede booties provide the perfect kick to elevate this blossoming outfit.

DRESS: H&M / ANORAK: Cotton On / TIGHTS: A Pharmacy in Japan / BAG: H & M / BOOTS: Rubi Shoes/ RINGS: Lovisa / SUNGLASSES: Rubi Shoes

How do you wear your winter florals?

  1. Thanks Bash!! We managed to pick the dress up in the post Christmas sales, and could not be happier 🙂 We love wearing a shift dress with boots in the cooler months. By the way, we absolutely love the name of your blog!

  2. Thank you! We went on a little shopping adventure on this day, so we thought we'd make the most of the sunshine and take a few outfit shots too! Florals and shift dresses are 2 of our biggest obsessions, so you can understand why we had to get this!
